This guide is a collection of useful sources for finding secondary sources about Water by the Spoonful.
The Assignment
In a literary analysis, identify one character in Water by the Spoonful who is affected in some way by their cultural experiences, traditions, socio-economic circumstances, or belief systems.
Cite the play throughout the body of the essay to help support your analysis, and use one additional secondary source about social/cultural context to help bolster your analysis. For instance, if you plan to analyze Elliot's character, you might look at a source about combat veterans and PTSD.
