Scholarships for LGBTQ Students

- PFLAG Howard County PFLAG Howard County offers one $2000 scholarship each spring; application packets, with outlined eligibility criteria, can be found on the PFLAG Howard County website.
- Team DC's Student-Athlete Scholarship The Team DC Student-Athlete Scholarship is awarded to a self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) student-athlete who has made a contribution to the sport(s) he or she is a part of and, as a result of his or her contributions and involvement, has enhanced the perception of the LGBT community. Awards are made to graduating high school seniors in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area who will be attending a fully accredited two or four year college/university. The Team DC Student-Athlete Scholarship will provide up to $2,000.
- Rodler-Wood Scholarship Funds scholarships for full-time University of Maryland students with demonstrated interest and academic excellence in the field of LGBT studies.
- UMD LGBT Scholarship Fund Funds scholarships for University of Maryland student who has promoted civil rights by working to end discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
