Teaching body liberation through dance embraces dance teachers who talk about, interact with, and allow space for the bodies in their studios and who focus on molding confident students who are gentle with themselves and love their bodies, over and above seeking technical excellence.

The Foxy Body Liberation Art Project is a semi-nude photoshoot in nature with a community of badass women who want to feel more liberated in their bodies.

The wildly popular Cartoon Network show Steven Universe has been busy carving out space in children’s media for identities rarely seen on screen. The show is a master class in tackling LGBTQ+ identity, gender expression, and body positivity. In order to further spread the show’s message of intergalactic acceptance, creator Rebecca Sugar, recently partnered up with Dove to create a series of shorts (and a couple music videos!) all about learning to love yourself just the way you are.
