1. The E-Journal Finder allows users to determine if CCC Library owns a title and whether it is in print or electronic form. The link for the E-Journal Finder is readily available on the left-hand side of the library's homepage, as shown in Image 1.
2. Within the Finder, you can either search for a periodical immediately if you know the title or view the entire holdings for a given subject. As you can see in Image 2, you can enter a journal name directly into the "Searching: Library Publications" search box. You could also click on the highlighted "Nursing & Allied Health" link to see our full holdings.
3. When you search for or click on a given title, the E-Journal Finder will return every database that has the journal as well as its range of coverage and any access restrictions (Image 3). Clicking directly on one of those links will take you to the listed database, where you can search the journal's available holdings. If we have a print copy, the system will return "Print Holdings" with the range of coverage included. If we do not have an article available through the college, consider using our interlibrary loan service.
