1. ProQuest databases have identical functionality as EBSCO's, but the interface as different. As you can see in Image 1, the main search page only has limiters for full text and peer review. Use both of them! Date limiters are on the search results screen, as shown in Image 2.
2. The publication date limiter is available on the left-hand side of the search results screen, directly under the "Source Type" limiter. You may use any of their included options, or click on "Custom Date Range" to enter a specific range.
3. Subject headings are also available on the left-hand side of the screen. Scroll down a bit from the date limiters, past the "Publication Title" and "Document Type" until you reach the "Subject" drop-down heading. Click on your chosen subject to limit your results to that topic. You can use as many subject headings as you would like to narrow down your results.
