Open Educational Resources: OER Databases and Portals

The following sites provide searchable access to collections of learning objects.  The user can either search by keyword or, in most cases, browse by broader subjects or disciplines.  Links to the actual learning objects are provided.

• AMSER - Applied Math and Science Education Repository - high-quality science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) resources with a community college focus
• Community College Consortium for OER (CCCOER) - mission is to identify, create and/or repurpose existing OER to improve teaching and learning and make education more accessible for all learners

• The Orange Grove - Florida's Digital Repository.  Extensive, searchable collection of OER harvested  
            from numerous institutions.
• WISC-Online - www.wisc-online.com/ListObjects.aspx - a digital library of objects from the Wisconsin Technical College System
